The lecturers for this subject are Mr Ramar and Mr Simon. Total credit hours is 4. The assessment plan is divided into four components that are Mid Term test, Assignment, TGC Portfolio and Final Examination. Each component except TGC Portfolio sums up assessment weightage to 100%.
For Mid Term test, the test is set by Mr Simon meanwhile assignment is set by Mr Ramar. This is because the chapters in this module are divided equally for the lecturers.
At the end of semester, I am able to interpret the clauses in the Standard Method of Measurement 2 (SMM2) for electrical installation, cold water installation, sanitary installation, fire protection and air condition installation, to be able to interpret the clauses in the Malaysian Civil Engineering (MyCESMM), to be able to take-off quantities from drawings of installations of electrical, cold water, sanitary, fire protection, air condition and also elements from the MyCESMM for the preparation of Bills of Quantities, to be able to understand the drawings so as to measure elements of the installation of electrical, cold water, sanitary, fire protection, air condition and also elements from the MyCESMM, to understand the relationship between Specifications, Drawings and Bills of Quantities in tender document for installation of electrical, cold water, sanitary, fire protection, air condition and also elements from the MyCESMM, and to be able to understand and have the knowledge on the steps in doing the Bills Quantities installation of electrical, cold water, sanitary, fire protection, air condition and also elements from the MyCESMM.
