The lecturer for this subject is Mr Leong Boon Tik. The assessment plan is divided into three components that are class discussions, Individual Assignment, Group Assignment and TGC Portfolio. Each component except TGC Portfolio sums up assessment weightage to 100%.
For class discussions, total number of students are divided into groups to discuss a case study and present it to the lecturer. For Individual Assignment, each student has to produce a report meanwhile for Group Assignment, each group has to produce a report as a group and present to the lecturer.
At the end of the semester, I am able to use Porter's Five Forces of Model to identify a competitive advantage for a company, define Firm's Value Chain, Market Segmentation and Vertical Integration, and identify an industry for a new company to take on the leader.
